This is not just any foam model! It’s a very clever WOT 4 that can be flight ready in under 30 minutes! The beautiful EPO mouldings hide an innovative internal structure that adds strength where needed and locks all the components together. The impressive specification includes a carbon main spar, carbon fuselage spine, shock resistant engine mount, simple battery access and battery retaining moulding, with further carbon reinforcement for the tailplane and ailerons. The four servos, brushless motor and 30A ESC are all pre-installed. Just add a receiver and a 3 cell 2100~2500mAh battery of your choice then let the fun begin!

The biggest job you have to do is fit the decals - and there's a very complete set of them! Supplied without undercarriage for hand launching as standard, but an optional fixed undercarriage set is available it required. Performance is very respectable for this size of model, even with that split outlet duct and she holds no nasty surprises for the inexperienced. Actually, a really good model for your first EDF as natural stability is a factor common to many F-15s. The light weight of foam just makes it better.

Squall! EP EDF ARTF A-PH020 (4 Cell)
Designed, constructed and styled with one aim in mind.....performance!
Identical airframe to the standard version but with a new fan and motor to explore 4 cell performance.
The sleek, precise, EPS foam mouldings and high quality hardware are exactly as you would expect from Phase 3 and assembly is both quick and enjoyable. Actually, a couple of hours would have it done.
The sleek, delta wing design and careful use of the fuselage allows the Squall to explore its entire speed envelope with control and stability. Even the surface finish has been optimised to enhance performance by keeping it as smooth as possible and small fairings are provided for each servo. The powerful elevons can roll the Squall at an amazing rate (aka a blurr!) and the ability to loop in its own length has to be seen to be believed. The added dimension of a rudder on the Squall opens up the possibility of some radical manoeuvres in yaw too.
With that 4 cell power, vertical is almost unlimited and speed is mind blowing. You will need to be quick witted with this one!
The completely new fan unit, with 3 blade, 64mm impeller, 3400kv outrunner motor and 45A ESC deliver thrust at an amazing rate and power the Squall through some of the widest loops and wingovers you can imagine. It really is that good! It is recommended that you use a 2500mAh 30C battery (Impulse or Intellect) as a minimum, so that battery life is maintained when you're having that much fun. You might need more than one pack though, as the Squall is addictive!
For those that can never have enough performance and really want to challenge their pilot skills, there is an optional Vectored Thrust unit. With power substantially over 1:1 you can be sure of enough thrust to do just about anything. Jet hovering anyone???£98.99 inc. V.A.T.

A semi-scale model of one of the most beautiful sailplanes flying in the world today. This model is fully moulded in crash resistant EPO foam which can be repaired using normal Cyano adhesive. Even the characteristic curved wingtips are there and contribute to its amazing low speed performance.
